Political Insider

Gavin Newsom is a political insider.

He’s related to Nancy Pelosi – who is among his mentors.

He got his start in politics as an associate of the corrupt former San Francisco mayor, Willie Brown.

Newsom has raked in millions from some of San Francisco’s wealthiest families.

He’s pictured paling around with mafia boss Raymond “Shrimp Boy” Chow, who is now in prison for crimes including money laundering and weapons trafficking.

In the meantime, his city has become an example of failed liberal policies, and what the rest of us have to look forward to if Newsom is elected Governor.

Homelessness and Affordable Housing

Californians need more affordable housing.

Gavin Newsom and the Sacramento liberals have not made life better for working Californians. They’ve made it worse.

Millions of Californians have left the state because they cannot afford the cost of living. California suffers the nation’s highest poverty rate.

Gavin Newsom is the architect of San Francisco’s policy on homelessness.

How has that worked out? Well, homelessness in San Francisco is at such a crisis point that the United Nations has declared the situation a human rights violation.

In fact, it’s no exaggeration to call San Francisco a literal sewer.

There is so much human waste littering the streets of city, it’s driving away tourists, traditionally one of the city’s top industries. One company has begun publishing a “poop map,” which may help people watch where they step.

Thanks to the red tape of Gavin Newsom and his liberal buddies, it is nearly impossible to build housing in San Francisco, and the average rent is now $3500 – the highest in the world, according to Walletwyse.

The luxury tourist island of Bermuda came in second – so the tropical paradise is still cheaper and it doesn’t have a poop problem!

Newsom has offered no plans to bring accountability to California’s state government.

Californians pay among America’s highest taxes and get among the worst returns on our “investment.”

Our roads and infrastructure are crumbling. But Sacramento politicians pay themselves the nation’s highest salaries. They claim they don’t have enough money to maintain our roads, but they plan to spend over $750 million on new offices for themselves!

This state of affairs urgently cries out for REFORM, but instead Gavin Newsom would up the ante and take taxing and spending to epic levels.

His healthcare plan alone would cost $200 billion. Additional campaign promises Newsom has made on the campaign trail bring the total to a whopping $278 billion in new spending.

That’s a 140% spending increase! And the only way to pay for it is with MASSIVE tax increases.

Newsom has indicated he would consider abolishing Prop. 13, forcing many Californians, and especially seniors, out of their homes.

He also wants to tax your soda.
